Farming and Salesmanship

 Farming and Salesmanship

A good farmer knows how to select the right land, similarly, a good salesman knows which markets to cover

A good farmer knows how to make the land fertile, similarly, a good salesman knows how to increase the awareness in the assigned market

A good farmer ploughs the field before sowing seeds, similarly, a good salesman studies the market before selling the product

A good farmer keeps nurturing the crops, similarly, a good salesman keeps nurturing the relationship in the field

A good farmer keeps studying the weather conditions, similarly, a good salesman keeps studying the market condition

A good farmer protects the crops from pests and insects, similarly, a good salesman protects his market from negative forces

A good farmer knows when to harvest, similarly, a good salesman knows when to pitch for sale

Farming is a process of converting a seed into a crop, similarly, selling is a process of converting a prospect into a customer

Society requires good farmers to produce an effective salesman to sell
