Saying No is not a Crime.

Saying No is not a Crime. Recognising the value of setting boundaries and standing up for ourselves is essential. It is better to confidently say no to specific requests rather than carry the burden of regret later. Asserting our right to say no is not a sign of weakness but self-respect and self-worth. Continuously saying yes to everything diminishes our self-esteem and can lead to feelings of being overwhelmed and overburdened. The impact of declining a request is far less detrimental than the long-term effects of living without self-esteem. Therefore, when faced with an excessive workload, it is important to have the courage to say No and take on only what we can handle effectively." M.L. Narendra Kumar

Hell, or heaven, is not elsewhere.

Hell, or heaven, is not elsewhere. Heaven or hell is not situated in a distant place; our thoughts can shape our state of mind into a heavenly or hellish experience. We possess the agency to construct a tranquil and harmonious life reminiscent of heaven or to lead a restless existence consumed by worry over matters beyond our control, creating a living hell for ourselves. The unknown nature of what follows death renders the information we read or hear about it inconclusive. Nevertheless, we can all use the power of our thoughts to craft our reality into a heavenly or hellish state. M.L. Narendra Kumar

Pay Attention to dwindling Attention Span.

Pay Attention to dwindling Attention Span.   The world we live in today is not a result of a single day's work; rather, it has taken centuries to construct. From awe-inspiring art and majestic buildings to our innovative devices, these achievements are the products of unwavering determination and patience. Given this, witnessing the trend of shorter attention spans today is disheartening. This raises the fundamental question: does attention span truly matter?   Indeed, it does. The construction of monumental structures like the Pyramid of Giza, the development of intricate computer microchips, and the establishment of extensive railway networks all necessitated sustained attention spans. Without such focus, the world would not have been privileged to witness remarkable artistic talents like Ravi Verma or encounter individuals with the ability to paint intricate designs on a single grain of rice.   Observing the evolution of attention spans before the ad...

The Beauty and the Beast Within

The Beauty and the Beast Within The struggle between our inner beauty and inner beast profoundly reflects the human experience. Our innate beauty is often overshadowed by the relentless nature of our inner beast, which incessantly compares us to others and erodes our ability to appreciate the unique qualities we possess. This internal battle is a constant in life, and while it can be managed when kept within, its external manifestation leads to societal chaos and unrest. M.L. Narendra Kumar

Unproductive Vs Productive Day

Unproductive Vs Productive Day A day can be considered unproductive when it involves keeping busy without working towards a specific plan, leading to an unaccomplished feeling. On the other hand, a productive day is characterized by a sense of relaxation while making progress according to a well-thought-out plan. This progress includes achieving set goals and feeling a sense of accomplishment. To top it off, the day ends with enjoying a well-deserved glass of beer with dear friends and family, emphasizing the importance of celebrating and sharing success with loved ones. M.L. Less than a minute Lessons-2483 Managing Self

Less than a minute Lessons-2483 Managing Self None of us can get more than 24 hours in a day, yet we have the ability to enhance our time management skills to make the most of each day.
