Saying No is not a Crime.

Saying No is not a Crime.

Recognising the value of setting boundaries and standing up for ourselves is essential. It is better to confidently say no to specific requests rather than carry the burden of regret later. Asserting our right to say no is not a sign of weakness but self-respect and self-worth. Continuously saying yes to everything diminishes our self-esteem and can lead to feelings of being overwhelmed and overburdened.

The impact of declining a request is far less detrimental than the long-term effects of living without self-esteem. Therefore, when faced with an excessive workload, it is important to have the courage to say No and take on only what we can handle effectively."
