Ideas-Let it Flow

Ideas- Let it Flow
My brother’s son was discussing an idea of coming up with a machine that can dispense a plastic cover that can protect the foot wear and also prevent the floor from accumulating dirt., while he was sharing his thought, I was immediately recollecting a similar machine that I experienced when I visited a client who was promoting flats.
I decided to listen to his Idea before I wanted to share about what I saw and  paid attention to his words and showed him a similar machine in you tube after his explanation , after seeing the machine he said “oh, someone has already done it”
I said you are also a great thinker, keep thinking. While having my breakfast, I was mulling on the conversation we both had and decided to pen down my thoughts.
We would have come across situation where children/employees/friends etc, who would share an Idea thinking it is new and sometimes they might not be aware that it is in existence, in a such a situation, we can approach their idea in any of the following manner
1.   We can cut them short and tell them the idea is in action
2.   We can tell them there is nothing new about what they are saying
3.   We can tell them you are outdated
4.   We can appreciate them for their thinking & keep encouraging them to think more
The choice is ours, but for a moment let’s think what will happen, when our idea is ridiculed or our when we are cut short? I am sure we might not feel good about it, but instead if we are encouraged to think more, probably that will stimulate us for a better for generating better Ideas.

Though market is flooded with similar kind of products, but still new brands enter with some variations and they do get a market share, recently we saw One Plus TV which did come up with some additional features in the crowded TV market and turned to be a successful brand.
Let’s encourage people to share their ideas, it doesn’t matter whether the idea is old, inapplicable, etc, we should appreciate the fact that instead of worrying or wasting their time, they are at least using their time for a better cause called-Idea Generation.
Appreciate your children who ideates, support your friends who come forward to share ideas and keep encouraging your employees to come up with new ideas.
Ideas can change the Holder and the Beholder

Less than a Minute Life Lesson-2410 Promotion and Character Promotion is a form of recognition for your competency and character. The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites. If we carefully examine the model, it has a sound application in running an effective training program too. Part-1-Ethos Application of the model in training program Ethos- Trainer Introduction There are organization where trainer and his credibility are introduced, but there are occasions where trainer does a self-intro and starts the program. In such occasions, we can request the client to handover a copy our profile to the participants along with course material. This will help the participants to know more about the trainer It is always bett...
