Hell, and Heaven
A middle-aged man asked an old monk,
" What is the meaning of hell and heaven?"
The monk replied, "these are the
words that have a meaning in the dictionary, but not in life, instead of
wasting your gifted present on such topics, use your time to be meaningful for
self &, others"
The middle-aged man said, "Master,
you have not answered my question."
The monk said, "I have two answers
for your statement- The first answer is since I am alive, I don't know the
answer, but still If you would like to know the answer meet me after my
death."
Before I answer the second question, can
I know your understanding of hell and heaven?
The middle-aged man with a doubtful tone
said, "Hell is a place where people are tortured, and they are unhappy,
whereas heaven is the place where people are treated well, and they are happy.
After listening to the above reply, the
old monk said, "When you torture yourself with unwanted thoughts about
life, that is hell, whereas when you enjoy the gifted present that is called
heaven.
Hell,
or heaven is a state of mind in which we live.
