The Power of Writing

 The Power of Writing

We have much experience and knowledge to share; many prefer to share it orally, and only a few choose to write it. During my writing journey, I discovered we gain more by writing it down; we document our experience and improve our reading and writing skills.

Whenever I think about penning down my thoughts or experience, I will have a set of words and structure, but once I start writing, I will be surprised to see my thoughts taking up a better shape than what it was.

The article you are reading was in my mind before few weeks with few sentences and an objective, but once I started penning it down, it was much better than I thought.

The objective of penning this article is to inspire you to start writing, It doesn't matter how big or small it is, but once you pen it down, it will be much better than it was in your mind.

Writing falls under various steams, they are as follows:

Writing is an Art- like any other art; writing becomes better through practice. In writing, we play with words and sentences. Hence it becomes both poetic and artistic.

Writing is a Science- Like any other science, writing becomes better through research and experiments. In writing, we research the reader's mind and experiment with words. Hence, writing becomes scientific.

Writing is a Profession- Like any other profession, and writing improves through discipline and a code of conduct. In writing, we follow ethics and values while choosing what to write. Hence writing becomes a profession.

If you want to improve your artistic bent of mind, research bent of mind or improve your profession, start penning down your thoughts and experience. Today, we are sitting on a wealth of knowledge and conveniently accessing it from mobiles or laptops because someone has written it.

Land, building, gold etc., need not only be the asset, but we can also hand it over to the next generation. It can be our words of wisdom too. Let us not forget Tiruvallur, Kabir doss, Confucius, Sun Tzu, Charles Darwin, Bertrand Russel, Stephen R Covey, and the list is endless; all these great personalities have added value to humanity through their writings.

Documented words become the pearls of wisdom, and the deep knowledge divers will discover it one day. That day, you will be appreciated and celebrated.

Start your writing journey today....

Being Jaby is being a fine human being.

Being Jaby is being a fine human being.   L&D Global Chennai Chapter was instrumental in bringing Jaby closer to my heart, our journey was not too long, but it was filled with fun, humour, joy and learning too. When Jaby was present, dullness was absent. He filled the hall with his sense of humour, and his thoughts were deep-rooted in bringing the best out of every human. Jaby was the most admired person in any forum; when Jaby picked the mic, the audience pulled themselves to the edge of the chair. Jaby was casual in his appearance, but he was a thorough professional everywhere. During COVID, if there was one person whom I counted on to help people, it was Jaby; his car was filled with masks, sanitizer and an oxygen concentrator. His social bent of mind made him a good Samaritan. Jaby was a curious child, whenever we both met, he was curious to improve his skills and knowledge, and his quest for development was limitless. Jaby and I collaborated in the year ...
