K. Kamaraj a True Servant Leader-Part-3 Empathy: Incident from cart puller Empathy : Servant leaders strive to understand other people's intentions and perspectives. You can be more empathetic    by putting aside your viewpoint temporarily, valuing others' perspectives, and approaching situations with an open mind. When Kamaraj was travelling towards central railway station he saw a man struggling to pull his cart, he immediately instructed the driver to stop the car and rushed to help the man who was struggling to pull the cart. After doing so, he came back and sat in the car.  Kamaraj was told “you could have instructed someone to do help the cart puller” Kamaraj replied back by telling “I am from Virdhunagar I know the pain of pulling a cart” This incident is clear sign of a true leadership which symbolizes the need to be doers not instructors, Kamaraj has demonstrated in his role and many situations.

Once India got the freedom from British the role of Leader was getting redefined from patriotism to nation building. In this situation Tamil Nadu witnessed a Leader with a difference whose work proves to be the strong foundation for present TN Economy.
