New India

 New India

Filthy words, personal attacks

Tall promises, no substances

That is the state of New India

PM stays away from flood victims

but he rushes for election campaigns.

That is the truth of New India.

Social distancing insisted

But people are being gathered

That is the fact about New India

Media becoming Mongers

Public turning into fanatics

That is the face of New India

Ruling makes promises

But there is no sign of achievements

That is the sign of New India

Opposition blaming the ruling

But did nothing when they were ruling

That is the game played by New India

Too many parties everywhere

But there are no Leaders anywhere

That is the situation in New India

Achhe Din spoken everywhere

But there is no sign of growth anywhere

That is the Rhetoric in New India

Claiming the death of black money in speeches

But cash is being distributed in suitcases

That is the Elections in New India

Many nations came together to create one Nation, but today many political parties are coming together to create this new India.

Let us think as humans, not as politicians when we step into the polling booth

Listen, Understand and Respond

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
