The art of Being goal-oriented

 The art of Being goal-oriented

Many people start setting goals, but only a few achieve them, and the rest either change their Goals or stop working towards them. Here is a simple method to improve your goal orientation in life.

Set daily goals in line with your long-term goal.

Set a goal you would like to achieve daily. For example, instead of setting a goal to read a book, set a goal to read one page.

Set an incremental goal in line with your long-term goal.

Many people set a goal to walk 10000 steps daily, but only a few achieve it. Instead of establishing such a goal, set an incremental goal; start walking 1000 steps a day and gradually increase it until your body develops the endurance to walk.

Set a time for your goal.

If you want to set a goal for investing your time in your hobby, for example, if you're going to write articles for your blog, decide on a particular time in a day and start writing at that specific time daily; this will slowly become a habit, and when that time comes, your mind will be inclined to write.

Work as a Team

If you find it challenging to work on your goal alone, form a like-minded team of people with similar interests. For example, If you want to meditate daily, identify people who would like to meditate and fix a time to meditate together.

What we do today determines our future; if we do things in line with our daily goals, we are already in the process of achieving our goals.
