Appreciate to Motivate
When we fail to
recognize the extra efforts made by our subordinates, we inadvertently
demotivate them. If we limit our appreciation to only achievements or
successes, recognition will become rare. To genuinely appreciate these extra
efforts, we must actively observe our team members and inquire about their
approaches and the reasoning behind their work. Engaging in these conversations
will not only encourage them but also help them improve over time, motivating
them to go the extra mile.
Appreciation boosts
motivation, which in turn drives individuals to achieve more. Take some time to
list the people you would like to appreciate, and start doing it from today—and
make it a habit moving forward.
