Increasing income or
changing the mindset towards income
If you can't increase
your income, take a moment to review your competencies and your spending
habits. If you believe you are competent and being compensated fairly, then
focus on your spending. If you find your expenses to be excessive, identify
which ones you can reduce. If you feel your spending is appropriate, consider
changing your mindset about increasing your income. If you fail to do so, you
may end up feeling a sense of scarcity, which can lead to dissatisfaction with
your current situation and negatively impact your performance, ultimately
hindering your potential for income growth.
When we hear advice
to be content with what we have, it’s important not to accept it blindly.
Instead, critically evaluate your own situation to understand the reasoning
behind such advice.
