Watch your watch

I saw my boss wearing an expensive branded watch.

I said " your watch is too good"

He said " It's a  gift from my wife for my 10th wedding anniversary."

I said " she has woderful taste"

My boss smiled and said thank you

After sometime I was reflecting upon his delayed meetings and reasons he gives for his wife for going late.

All I understood is people value brands , but not other people's time.
