The Most Valuable Possession


If you are able to see the beautiful nature around you have the most valuable possession called eyes, nearly 285 million people in the world are visually impaired.


If you are able to hear a good music around you have the most valuable possession called ears, nearly 360 million people in the world have hearing disability.


If you are able to speak  you have the most valuable possession called speech, nearly 70 million people in the world are mute.


If you are able to walk a quarter mile you have  the most valuable possession called abliity to walk, nearly 18.2 million in the world not are able to walk a quarter mile.


If you are intellectually able to think and function you have the most valuable possession called intellectual ability, nearly 95 million people in the world suffer from intellectual disability.


If you have a shelter to stay you have the most valuable possession called house, nearly 1.6 billion people in the world are without homes.


If you are able to fill your stomach you have the most valuable possession called food, nearly 386 million people in the world are below poverty line.


If you are  able to hit the bed and forget the day you have the most valuable  possession called sleep, nearly 20 % of the  people in the world suffer from sleep disorders.


If you are able to read / write you have the most valuable possession called literacy, nearly 1 billion people in the world are illiterates.


If you are employed you have the most valuable possession called employment, nearly 200 million people in the world are unemployed.


We are not unhappy because of what we don't possess, we are unhappy because of our inability to value what we possess.


By saying the above it doesn't mean that you are not supposed to aim for a better life, it means if you don't value what you have, how can you value what you don't have.?


Pause for a while before you forward this message and appreciate some of the valuable possessions you have in your life,  you can still feel happy and keep moving with much more confidence in your life.


Value your possession, value your life.
