Leadership Lessons from Basic Human Senses The nervous system must receive and process information about the world outside in order to react, communicate, and keep the body healthy and safe. Much of this information comes from the sensory organs: the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin.   Similarly, leadership must receive and process information about the business world in order to react, communicate and keep the organization healthy and profitable. Like how we use our sensory organs, the same sensory organs can be used to improve our leadership qualities. Eyes - The beauty of the world is seen through the eyes. An eye in Leadership does not only mean seeing things around it also mean establishing a vision. A Leader should visualize the future and communicate his vision so that the team can visualize a long-term career in the organization. Vision Inspires Ears -Let it be a melody or an inspiring talk you require an ear to listen. An ear i...
