Stars and Subordinates
Have you wondered why you cannot see a glittering star in a city? The answer is, there is too much of
illumination around us.
Now let's see how we can relate the above in managing our subordinates. There are many star performers
around us, but they don't appear to be glittering, it is not because of them, it is because of too much of knowledge through which we perceive them, hence we are not able to see them as glittering stars.
Just ask for yourself are we seeing people as what they are or what we are?
Sometimes we need to move into darkness to see the brightness of the stars, similarly we need to step
down from our position to appreciate the performance of our own subordinates.
Remember, you did glitter yesterday but you were not noticed.
