In the mid of the ocean they are the centre of attraction

Ocean is their battlefield, where they do not yield

They are Wilder than the wild whale, where they deep dive

Sharper is their vision, who are always on a mission

They submerge so that we as a Nation emerge

Stormy nights or rainy days, they do have a way out

Ship is their home, ocean is their nation

They swim with ease and sail with grace

They are men in white but tough in the battle

Saluting our Navy on Indian Navy Day- 4th of December

Indian Navy Day is celebrated every year on December 4 to commemorate the attack on the Karachi harbour during the India-Pakistan war in 1971. On this day, the Indian Navy's attack on Karachi harbour contributed to the ultimate victory of the Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan. The theme of Navy Day 2020 is "Indian Navy Combat Ready, Credible & Cohesive"
