Boiling water and the Mind
Neither you can touch the boiling water nor drink
the boiling water, though water can cleanse you and quench your thirst. Similarly, the disturbed mind is like boiling
water which can neither soothe you nor help you generate ideas.
Once the water is boiled and cooled, it becomes
usable, similarly, when the mind becomes calm it becomes productive. Boiling the
water can be a choice, but sometimes it is inevitable to have an undisturbed
mind in such situations; it is better to allow the mind to settle down rather
than to act.
