Adding Sweetness to life
A youngster
was served a cup of coffee by his mother, after tasting the coffee, he yelled
at her for not adding sugar. His father requested to give him the cup and he
took it to the kitchen to add some sugar.
He returned the coffee, gave it to his son, and said, " my dear son, just
listen to my words."
By yelling
at your mother, you have added bitterness to her life today; instead, if you said, " Mummy, coffee is strong and hot; however, I will add
some sugar to it" your mother would have apologized and would have done
it.
Look, my
dear son, never sweeten your life by adding bitterness to other's life. You could have added some kindness to your mother by adding a spoon of sugar.
In life, trivial mistakes are an
opportunity to prove your kindness, every day, we have a choice to add some
sweetness to others' life as well as our life.
