A Glass of
Beer
A young man was having a beer in a
vintage bar, surrendered by Oldies who have been advised to either have a pint
or a peg. The young man was surprised to see the oldies having a good time with
a rationed drink on the table for a long time.
The young man was curious to know
what makes them enjoy a pint or a peg for a long time and he approached an
elderly person with the same question
" An elderly person smiled and
said our days are numbered, hence we are spending more time on the drink, to
stay United till we are alive"
Another gentleman said " this
empty chair had Mack yesterday, but today he rests in peace"
The other elderly person with a Shaky
hand holding a dark beer said
We know life has an end, but we don't
want to end it in our mind, before it ends
