 Farmers

 

They toil in a soil

They walk in a slippery mud

They dirty their hands

They bend and bow

They wake up early

They wait for the rain and the sun

Nature is their saviour, at times destroyer too

They seed and nurture

They cultivate and harvest

They are the reason for the food on our table.

They are the backbone of the Nation.

 

Thinking about them or thanking them occasionally is not enough.

We should encourage our local farmers and stand for their rights too.
