Winter or summer

Dark or clear skies

They work in any season

 

Riffle or a Knife

Gun or a grenade

Leg or a hand

Anything is their weapon

 

Walking or running

Flying or jumping

Driving or a riding

Anything Is their transportation

 

Early morning or morning

Noon or afternoon

Evening or late night

Anytime are their working hours

 

Water or a bread

Biscuit or an energy bar

Food or no food

They can survive anywhere

 

Bruises or wounds

Sprain or fracture

Pain or suffering

They can stand with a vigour

 

Vigilant and Swift they are

Strategic and striking they are

Strong and hard they are

 

The nation is their first love

The enemy is their target

Shooting is their job, but forgiving is not

They are our warriors in green

They are aggressive, but their love for the nation is incomparable.

They are strong, but they do wait for lighter moments in life.

They are very Swift, but when it comes to meeting their family, they do wait for a long time.

 

Saluting them and standing for them is our duty. 

Let us salute these Brave hearts on Army Day.
