Craft work and Life

Let’s compare our life with craft work which demands drawing outlines, cutting into shapes, colouring, sticking & drying.

Drawing an outline in the craft work is like setting goals and action plans in life. The outline in the craft work determines the outcome of the craft, similarly goals with purpose and action plan determines the outcomes in life.

Cutting into shapes in the craft is like Cutting negative thoughts, habits, taking things personally in life. Perfect shapes in the craft work adds up to the bigger picture of the craft, similarly cutting negatives in life determines how we are going to shape up as person to achieve our goals.

Colouring in the craft is like leading the life with Enthusiasm, Patience, determination etc. Right colours add life to the craft. Similarly colouring in life determines our ability to rise and run towards our goal.

Sticking in the craft is like Relating with people through empathy, forgiveness, trust etc. in life. Sticking brings many elements together in the craft. Similarly sticking with right people will determine our ability to have people in our life and will help us to reach our goals with the help of the right people in our life.

Drying in the craft is like taking time out for reflecting in life. Drying in the craft helps in bonding all the pieces & helps in drying the colours. Similarly taking time out in life helps in introspection, self-analysis which prevents stress, relationship break down, ensures we correct ourselves and work towards our goals.

Next time if you see a child doing a craft work teach the child craft is not about paper scissors etc. it is an art of understanding how to craft a life.
