Can everyone be Creative? -Part-1
Recently I was running a creativity program for one of my clients, there were participants from various functions ranging from sales, Finance, R&D, Production etc.
I started the session by writing the word creativity on the board and asked the participants to share the words that comes to their mind when they come across the word creativity. These are some of the words that was stated by the participants

·         Art
·         Craft
·         Start-up
·         Films
·         Inborn
·         Not for everyone
·         Success
·         Business
·         Customer delight and many others words.
After this discussion, I asked the participants to share some of their doubts they have about creativity and these are  the questions that were raised during the discussion
·         Can everyone be creative?
·         Does every role demand creativity?
·         Why should we be creative?
·         What is creative to me will sound stupid to others.
·         Can we learn creativity?
·         What is the difference between Creativity and Innovation?
·         How to be Creative?
After capturing the above doubts, I decided not to answer the questions immediately because I was aware that the workshop had some of the answers for their questions.

Let’s go with the above questions one by one

For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
