An Interaction about Motivational Videos

A trainer was showing some motivational videos in the class, at the end of the session a participant decided to have a word with the trainer. The Participant asked "Sir, these videos are definitely motivating, but after a few days, we still become pessimistic"

The Trainer asked " If one video can you keep motivated for a day or two, ask yourself what will happen if you make it as a point to see one video a day"

The Participant said "it sounds good, but is it practically possible'

The Trainer said "If it is practically possible to brush your teeth daily, it is also practically possible to see a video everyday"

If you bring motivation in your routine list, it will last forever

The Participant was slowly getting convinced, but he suddenly came up with the following question

What will happen if the videos are exhausted?

The trainer smiled and said " Your life can become a motivating video" and do remember, the greatest motivator is you, who can change your life.

The internet can be down, but not your spirit to achieve, the power can fail, but not your power to bounce back, videos can be exhausted, but not your Self-motivation to Succeed.

The Participant thanked the Trainer and said, sir "One day, you will play my video in your class"

The Trainer with a smile said "I will be happy to do that"

Keep motivating yourself, to keep inspiring others

Listen, Understand and Respond

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
