Farming- An act of Nurturing

Farming- An act of Nurturing

A middle-aged man invited an experienced farmer to examine his land, which was in the outskirts of the city. After careful examination, the farmer suggested few measures which was diligently followed by the Middle-aged man.

Days passed by, after few years of farming the middle-aged man was happy to see few beautiful flowers, Vegetables and fruits growing in his farm.

He was proud to show his farm to his friends and few of them were also interested in procuring the fruits and vegetables from him.

Are we talking about farming? Yes, you are right, but it is also the process involved in effective parenting.  Every child's mind is like a farm, before planting your ideas talk to a career expert to understand your child better. A land becomes fertile when we nurture it effectively, similarly a child becomes effective when we understand their potential and nurture them on those grounds.

A well nurtured plant gives the right quantity & quality of fruits/vegetables, similarly a well nurtured child will add value to both the family and the society.

World requires more Farmers to feed us and Career experts to guide us.

Remember, career is not about jobs, it is about living a purposeful life with Passion

Listen, Understand and Respond

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
