As a teenager I don't want to be advised, I want to be listened.

As a spouse I don't to be doubted, I want to be understood.

As an aging parent I don't want to be controlled, I want to be sympathized.

As a manager  I don't to be blamed, I want to be empathised.

As a friend I don't to be ignored, I want to be told what went wrong.

As a student I don't want to be punished, I want to be corrected.

As teacher I don't want to be greeted, I want to be respected.
