Bunch
of Jokers
During political
conversations, some politicians are called a bunch of jokers. I have been
wondering, why they compare those politicians with jokers when jokers play a
vital role on the stage and pack of cards?
When we visit a circus, we witness some spine-chilling acrobats
and thrilling acts by the bike riders and others; though we have paid our money
for such shows, it is the jokers who make us forget our pressure and the pain.
There is a saying: “Comedy is a serious business, and everyone cannot
make others laugh", it requires a different kind of Attitude and
skillsets. I remember seeing a movie called Mera Nam Joker, acted by Late Raj
Kapoor, where he plays a joker. Throughout the film, he carries a pain in the
heart, where his joker's mask makes the audience laugh, but he cries inside. Many
such jokers in the circus cry inside but make us laugh outside. The word joker
might sound like a joke, but they are superior beings who make us forget our
burden for a while. After reading the above lines, do you think you can compare some
politicians with a joker who makes us cry? Let us not insult the jokers by
comparing them with politicians.
In a pack of cards,
a joker can help us win or reduce the loss; at times, people wait
for a joker to complete the game. In the game of cards, a joker is a saviour,
but some politicians are not, let us not insult the joker in a pack of cards by
comparing with a politician.
Henceforth let us
not compare some politicians with jokers.
