Innovation on the seashore
Innovation and change have become the order of the day, irrespective of whatever business we do. Those who innovate and change not only sustain; they also keep progressing in their business.
The eatery was as ordinary as any other roadside eatery, but the way they utilised the seashore was eye-catching and innovative.
The eatery created a restaurant atmosphere by placing two sand-filled sacks, which turned into a chair and a bin in between the sacks that was looking like a dining table and on which a laminated menu card was placed along with candlelight, I went closer to look at the arrangement and found it to be elegant & inviting too.
Though the eatery was selling tea,
coffee, biscuits, and some quick snacks which were not different from other
shops in the same location, but the way it was visualised as a seashore eatery
and the utilisation of sack, sand and bin made the difference.
Some tourists were taking pictures, whereas others were ordering snacks and tea to experience the innovation. Business is not only about products or services; it is about how innovatively you engage your customers.
Let your customer engagement be innovative because people remember the experience more than the products or the service.
