An Interview with a Salesperson

An Interview with a Salesperson

The interviewer met a salesperson who was awarded as the best salesperson; he asked him to share his success story.

The salesperson said the following

He said the world calls me successful, but I call myself a student of life.

I don't know which door will open, but I am ready to knock all the doors.

Customers will reject me, but I have decided not to get dejected.

I know every day is not my day, but I can take something from every day.

I know the prospect will not trust me, but I will keep adding relationships to their trust account, and one day, he will call me and give me some business.

I know my conviction improves when I know my products well.

When I am in the field, my personal matters don't exist in my mind.

I start my day with a plan and end it with a review to analyse the gap

I never achieve my target; I only over-achieve

I know my salary will take care of my present; I am fully convinced that my incentive will take care of my future.

I don't blame the market; I keep exploring the market.

I know sales is not a job, it is a career

The interviewer said all the points mean a lot.

The salesman said that if we make it our habit, we will enjoy every call.

Dear Friends,

The salesman has not taught us rocket science; he has taught us common sense. I hope you will imbibe the same and make it a habit.

The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites. If we carefully examine the model, it has a sound application in running an effective training program too.
