Reflect, Realize and Realign

Reflect, Realize and Realign

In the world of business, progress and growth are ongoing pursuits. More than just focusing on day-to-day operations is required; a strategic approach is also essential. To be strategic, entrepreneurs must hone their critical thinking skills and be open to challenging their assumptions or seeking external perspectives to identify areas for improvement. This involves three crucial actions: reflection, realization, and realignment.

Reflection entails thoroughly re-examining the business to pinpoint the factors contributing to its growth, the obstacles impeding its progress, and the areas needing enhancement. This proactive approach allows for timely adjustments instead of waiting for monthly or quarterly reviews.

Realization is the next step after reflection. As an entrepreneur you shouldn't merely reflect on your business but should also recognize and acknowledge any shortcomings. They should devise a detailed action plan with a clearly defined turnaround time.

Realignment is the final phase. After realizing your business's shortcomings, you should adjust your strategies to your identified new solutions. This proactive measure prevents the business from spiralling out of control, similar to ensuring proper alignment to prevent a vehicle from veering off course.

Are you regularly reflecting on your business? If not, it's time to start. Always remember that business growth is not a straightforward journey; it involves navigating through different terrains and challenges.

The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites.
