It's important to distinguish between a group and a team. A group consists of individuals coming together, whereas a team involves a collective working towards a shared goal by utilizing their strengths and compensating for each other's weaknesses.

Constructive debates and discussions achieve the collective goal in a team environment. A leader who can balance the needs of individuals with the demands of the task at hand facilitates this.
