Performance
review is not a confrontation, it is a conversation to foster growth.
The purpose of a performance review is to foster
growth and improvement rather than assign blame or focus on shortcomings. It
provides an opportunity to have a constructive discussion aimed at enhancing
performance and identifying any factors that may be hindering progress.
The emphasis should be on mutual support and
assistance rather than allowing the conversation to escalate into a
confrontation that could lead to conflict.
