The Gap Between -Sowing and Harvesting

The fruits and vegetables that grace our table are more than just food; they are potent symbols of hard work, dedication, and patience. We understand that in life, nothing comes easily. Success requires effort and time, like the journey from sowing seeds to reaping a bountiful harvest.

For instance, when embarking on a new exercise regimen, it’s essential to remember that you won’t achieve a slim body overnight. Physical transformation requires consistent effort, commitment, and a willingness to push through challenges. Similarly, when starting a new diet, don’t expect to see significant changes in your health right away. Healthy eating is a long-term endeavor that involves making mindful choices and adjustments over time.

The same principle applies to personal development. After reading a self-help book, don’t anticipate instant expertise or transformation by the following day. Real change takes time and reflection. Each of these processes highlights an important truth: there is a significant gap between the act of sowing—beginning a workout routine, adopting a new diet, or seeking personal growth—and the moment we begin to harvest the results.

This gap is filled with nurturing, maintenance, and consistent effort. It requires patience and resilience as we work tirelessly to develop habits that support our goals. As we cultivate our efforts consistently, without losing hope or becoming discouraged by setbacks, we eventually position ourselves to reap the rewards of our hard work.

Over time, as we remain committed to our journeys, we will see the fruits of our labour—improved health, enhanced well-being, or personal achievements. Until that moment arrives, let’s continue nurturing our goals, embracing the process, and making these practices a habitual part of our lives. In this way, we can truly appreciate the value of patience and commitment in pursuing our aspirations.

The rice in the pot, the sugar cane tied in front of our homes, the turmeric and the variety of vegetables placed in front of the Sun God should remind us that hard work and patience yield.

The Modes of Persuasion The modes of persuasion, often referred to as ethical strategies or rhetorical appeals, are devices in rhetoric that classify the speaker's appeal to the audience. They are: ethos, pathos, logos, and the less-used Kairos & telos The above model has been used by Advertisement agencies to grab the attention of the viewers and finally bring them to the purchase desk or use the cart in shopping sites. If we carefully examine the model, it has a sound application in running an effective training program too. Part-1-Ethos Application of the model in training program Ethos- Trainer Introduction There are organization where trainer and his credibility are introduced, but there are occasions where trainer does a self-intro and starts the program. In such occasions, we can request the client to handover a copy our profile to the participants along with course material.
