We do have a choice

On a rainy day we do have a choice to use an umbrella or to drench in the rain to relive our childhood.

On a sunny day we do have a choice to stay indoors in an Air-conditioned room or to run on the sea shore to relive our teenage days.

On a tiring day we do have a choice to hit the bed or to call a friend to relive those school days where tiredness was not in our vocabulary.

On a challenging day we have a choice to keep our fingers crossed or to call our college  friends to relive those college days where challenges was our way of life.

On a disappointing day we do have a choice to feel dejected or to relive those youth days where we never stopped knocking the doors of opportunities.

On a dark night we do have a choice to light a candle or to hold each other's hand to relive those romantic days.

On a conflicting day we do have a choice to avoid a person or to reflect upon married life where conflicts brought us closer.

On a busy day we do have a choice to feel stressed or to recollect those busy nights where we did midnight babysitting.

On a crisis day we do have a choice to feel helpless or to relook those stringent days where we accounted every rupee we spent.

On a lonely day we do have a choice to feel we are nobody or revisit those days where grand children used to come on a vacation.

At every phase of life we do have a choice to live a life what we desire

While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
