She shines in the night and appears in the day.
She is the mark of beauty.
She comes in full, and she comes in half.
She is a companion for couples at dinner.
Sometimes, she doesn't show up, but once she does,
she shines.
She is a companion for skywatchers.
She is an inspiration for poets.
Astronauts are curious to meet and engage with her.
Neil had an opportunity to plant a flag on her but
forgot to carry a flower.
Today, there are machines roving around her for
exploration, but she is an unmatched beauty in the sky.
Once I start admiring her, she inspires me to write.
