Bonding Vs Bartering
In life, we often assume that
spending time with family naturally leads to stronger bonding. But is that
always true? If bonding comes with strings attached, it’s no longer
bonding—it’s bartering.
True bonding is unconditional. It
expects nothing in return. The moment we start expecting, we set aside real
love and care. We step into a living room where everyone is secretly trying to
withdraw something—not money, but affection disguised in soft words and
stitched with kindness. Expectations dress up as love, but deep down, they’re
silent transactions.
Real connection doesn’t need words. A
shared silence, a warm hug, or simply holding each other’s hands can say more
than a hundred loving sentences. In today’s materialistic world, with families
scattered and time scarce, what we need most isn’t more promises—it’s more
presence.
So, stop expecting. Start living for
each other. That’s true bonding. Everything else is just bartering.
