May Day
But did not see the blood of the labourers who built those wonders.
In the
industrial days,
The world witnessed heavy machinery
But did not see the fatigued labourers who operated those machines.
In the
technological days,
The world witnessed electronic products
But did not see the tired labourers who built the electronic boards with
precision.
In
modern days,
The world witnessed skyscrapers
But did not see the sweat of the labourers who built those magnificent
buildings.
In the
information technology era,
The world witnessed a quick data transfer
But did not see the hardships of the labourers who laid the cables beneath the
sea.
In the
age of AI,
The world witnesses rapid creation
But does not see the pain of the labourers who built the data centres.
There
is a labour force behind our easy life.
There is a labour force behind our luxurious life.
There is a labour force behind our relaxing life.
There is a labour force behind our safe life.
There is a labour force behind our hygienic life.
There
is a labour force in every part of our lives, right from making a pin to
delivering our hot food through an app. There is no doubt that the globe
rotates due to geographical phenomena, but let us not forget that it will come
to a standstill if the labour force stops working.
Respecting
the labour force is respecting humanity.
Long live labour.
Long live labour.
Give them a life envisioned by Karl Marx, Che Guevara, and other great thinkers
who believed in equality.
