Is it a true lovers' day?
Youngsters are waiting, waiting to propose.
The rose sellers are waiting, waiting for the people to buy
some roses
The card sellers are waiting, waiting for the people to pick
some cards
The jewellery shops are waiting, waiting for the people to
pick some heart designs
The media is bombarded, bombarded with offers for Valentine’s
Day
The shops are decorated with pink so that they can attract
some walk-in
The restaurants are getting prepared, prepared for the
couple to dine
The gift shops are flooded, flooded with goodies to be sold
Some youngsters are rehearsing, rehearsing how to propose
Some youngsters are keeping their fingers crossed, crossed
to whom to propose
Those who are in love are waiting, waiting to meet each
other
The newly married are waiting, waiting for a reason to dine
out
Is Valentine's Day a lover's day or a day to promote
business?
Is Valentine's Day indeed a lover's day or a day to propose?
Is Valentine's Day truly a lover's day or a day to add some
expenses to life?
The essence of true love is not spending money; it is
spending time with each other.
We don't require a day to spend time together when we love
each other.
