Hot hand fallacy

Sometimes, we believe that someone who succeeds in a task or activity is more likely to succeed again in future attempts. This belief is called the "hot hand fallacy." Such a fallacy can lead to overconfidence in ourselves or the person we believe will succeed.

This overconfidence may result in inadequate preparation, ultimately leading to future failure. To overcome this fallacy, we should focus on continuous development and ensure we prepare more thoroughly than before.
