Child
Labour Day
The World Day Against Child Labour, which is held
every year on June 12, is intended to foster the worldwide movement against
child labour in any of its forms.
Let us see a child
Let us see a child in a school, but not in the quarry
Let us see a child breaking sports records, but not
bricks
Let us see a child as an Artist, but not as a helper
for a painter
Let us see a child smiling in the class, but not
cleaning drinking glasses
Let us see a child playing in the park, but not
wiping car in the parking lot
Let us see a child eating in the house; but not
begging on the roads
Let us see a child carrying a bat in the hand, but
not the wooden log on the head
Let us see a child learn as per the age, but not
stand for the daily wage
Let us see a child mature, but not age early
Let
us see a child as a child and not as a labourer.
