Granny
returns with the second wave-Part-2
Not
all the noises are disturbances
While a youngster was
attending a video call with his Team Leader, he could not communicate his point
due to the noise from the street vendors. When his Team Leader requested him to
shift to a calm place, the granny appeared in front of the screen and wished
the Leader by saying, " Vanakkam Leader, how are you and how is your
family? The Team Leader greeted the granny and responded to her.
The granny asked the
Team Leader, "can you repeat what you said”, the Team Leader said, "I
requested him to move to a calm place", the granny asked are "you
able to hear any noise now" the Team Leader observed for few seconds and
said " I am not able to hear any noise now," the granny said
"during this lockdown, these street vendors who risk their life by moving
around the streets make a big difference for our daily needs, let us give some
time for them to finish their sale"
The Team Leader said,
" You are right, I was not aware of the reason behind the noise, the Granny said, *"It is good to be aware
of the surroundings before you propose a change,"* the granny added by
saying, *"Sometimes what we consider as a problem is not a problem, it
is our lack of patience and our inability to understand the situation that
forces us to see minor disturbances as problems"*
The team leader's
mother appeared on the screen and said, " I bought some fresh Cauliflower
for you and looked at the granny and asked, "do street vendors come in
your area?", the granny smiled and, the Team Leader said, "Yes, they
do sell in her area too."
Before
suggesting a solution, let us understand the ground reality
