Stress- Eustress-Distress

When you succumb to outside pressure, stress will turn to be distress, whereas when you pressurise from within, your stress will turn to be eustress.

Stress per se is not a negative word, moreover, when it enables our performance and helps us to bring the best, it is called eustress, the word “Eu” means good, whereas when stress becomes unmanageable it becomes distress, the word distress means suffering.

Reflect on your situation and examine whether you are in distress or eustress.

Remember, you cannot change the situation, but you can stop playing a role in the situation.
