Frivolous
Wants vs True Needs
If we fail to manage our materialistic desires, it
becomes increasingly difficult to reduce the mental stress we experience. This
stress, in turn, hampers our ability to increase productivity and,
consequently, obstructs the achievement of our desires. Life, contrary to
popular belief, is not a frantic pursuit - rather, it is akin to a peaceful
stroll in a tranquil environment. Just as serene trees attract more birds, a
composed mind attracts healthier thoughts, aiding us in discerning between our
true needs and frivolous wants. Wants act as a factory where materialistic
desires are perpetuated, while needs serve as a sanctuary where peace is
cultivated.
It is
essential to exercise wisdom in choosing what to prioritize and cultivate
within us.
