Water and Human Beings

Water and Human Beings

Water, the source of life, emerges in its purest form, glistening and clear. Yet, as it flows through various channels, it can become contaminated and unfit for consumption due to the pollutants it encounters. Similarly, humans enter the world in their purest form, innocent and untainted. However, the trials and tribulations they face and the influences of those around them can lead to a loss of humanity and worthiness.

Despite these challenges, there is hope. Just as water can be purified and enriched with essential minerals, humans can transform noble thoughts and acts of love and care, rejuvenating their spirits and restoring their purity.

Yet, purifying water is arduous and resource-intensive, much like the journey of self-renewal for individuals facing hardships.

Considering the world's limited resources and growing population, ensuring water flows through uncontaminated channels is crucial. Similarly, we must strive to create a society where individuals are shielded from the toxic influences of negativity, greed, hate, and lust. This is essential in safeguarding human wisdom and preventing artificial intelligence from overshadowing our humanity in this era of advanced technology.

Listen, Understand and Respond

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
