Stress -Do we know the meaning
When individuals
express feeling "stressed," they typically refer to experiencing
distress. Before casually using the term "stress," it's important to
critically assess whether the situation genuinely warrants distress or if our
perception and response are negative.
Engaging in
introspective inquiries can assist us in evaluating the situation and devising
effective coping strategies. Our thoughts and self-talk significantly shape our
experiences, so it's vital to be mindful of how we interpret and communicate
about stress. Constantly identifying with distress may lead to perpetuating a
perpetually distressed way of life.
Therefore, being
intentional and cautious about our thought patterns and verbal expressions is
imperative.
