The Jungle Lion, not the circus lion
How well we live is
not based on what others expect of us; it is based on how we define our own
lives. The more we try to fit into others' definitions, the less we live for
ourselves. Such an existence is like a lion living in a circus, performing at
the ringmaster's command. Let us not convert our lives into a circus, make
others our ringmasters, and become the poor lion who lives in fear.
We are meant to be
like the lion in the jungle, where life is a vast wilderness. Our way of living
should mirror that of a jungle lion, which neither fears nor competes with
others.
A roaring success is only possible when we have the
attitude of a lion in the jungle, not a lion in the circus.
