The Wisdom of the Rose Garden
If happiness is the way of life, then every
moment—from a millisecond to a year—is filled with joy. Yet we know life is not
a rose garden without thorns. Unhappy moments, like thorns, are inevitable.
The purpose of entering the garden, however,
is to savour the roses while being mindful of the thorns. Understanding this
balance between happiness and unhappiness is the essence of wisdom.
