Failure Is Not Final
In life, whether in academics, work, or business, we make a series of attempts. Sometimes we get the results we want; sometimes we are left disappointed. Some people try to blame others for their failures; others blame the sun, the stars, and the moon. But a few people look inward to understand the reason behind their failure. These are the mature ones who come out with flying colours in academics, climb the ladder at work, and build empires in the business world.
Yes, indeed, the pain of failure always makes us point the index finger outward. It gives momentary relief, like a painkiller, but it doesn’t cure the disease. Once you turn the finger toward yourself, everything around you looks different. As a reader, you might ask: How can I get into that frame of mind? The answer is to change your attitude toward failure. Remember that your attempts failed, but you are not a failure. If attempts fail, it doesn’t mean that’s the end of the story. You can still try, change your approach, look for an alternative—but you need to keep moving.
Some runners stop midway. Some runners reach the finish line even if they don’t win. And there is a winner who finishes ahead, but this winner never takes the finish line as an end; he hangs up his medal and hits the track to get ready for the next race.
It is okay to fail, but it is not okay to give up.
It is okay to fail, but it is not
okay to blame.
It is okay to fail, but it is not
okay to belittle yourself by comparing yourself with others.
Just sit for a while and ask yourself why you started and why you gave up. Come up with fresh ideas as an innovator, remove the victim tag, and hit the track again.
