Oh Birds

Oh Birds, your song has no words but your tune has notes
Oh Birds, you inspired us to fly without seeking any royalty
Oh Birds, you taught us why we should migrate so that we can mitigate
Oh Birds, you tirelessly fly to seed the forest before you rest
Oh Birds, your nest taught us why we should take rest
Oh Birds, though you lose your feathers but not your hopes
Oh Birds, you come in many colours with clean hearts
Oh Birds, though we cage you but you don’t avenge
Oh Birds, nature is your friend whereas our mobile tower is your enemy
Oh Birds, we are selfish human being who live to die, you are selfless supreme being who live to ensure we live
On the occasion of world Migratory Bird day, we bow in front of you to seek forgiveness for the damages we are doing to you and the nature as a whole

 World Migratory Bird Day

In 2006, the United Nations established World Migratory Bird Day to be held on the second weekend of May every year. The event was founded as an effort of the UN's Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Water birds to raise awareness of the migratory linkages between regions of the globe. World Migratory Bird Day events have been held in 118 nations. Each year, the United Nations announces a uniting theme for official events.
