Guess who she is.

Guess who she is.

She embodies my ambitions, a constant presence in my mind that often leads to sleepless nights. Thoughts of her consume me; I find it impossible to divert my attention, even for a single moment. She is fiercely possessive, guarding her place in my life with a tenacity that keeps me focused and driven. She gently but firmly nudges me back on track whenever I stray from my path, ensuring I remain aligned with my purpose.

She influences every aspect of my daily life, dictating my diet and influencing my choices on what to see and read. At times, her demands may feel overwhelming, almost torturous, yet I recognise that I cannot walk away from her. Whether she appears as a guiding angel or a relentless devil, one thing is undeniable: she completely possesses my thoughts and actions.

You would be mistaken if you assumed she was my wife or significant other. The truth is, she is my goal—my ultimate aspiration.

Treating our goals with the same love and dedication we would show a cherished partner is essential. When we commit ourselves to our better half—our goals—we discover that they can transform us. As we invest time and passion into them, we gradually evolve and improve, rising to new heights. So, set your goals boldly and fall deeply in love with them; doing so can lead you to extraordinary achievements.

Listen, Understand and Respond

Listen, Understand and Respond Most of the time, people listen to respond rather than to understand. By the time the other person finishes speaking, the listener is often already formulating a response. Let’s explore what happens in such situations. While listening, we may be trying to engage our logical brain to recall our memories and creativity for a response, or we may be accessing our emotional brain to defend ourselves against what is being said. For example, if one person talks about ways another could improve, the listener might offer excuses such as a lack of time, resources, or support. Alternatively, they may bring up personal emotions, like health or family issues. These reactions often occur while the other person is still speaking, leading to a decreased understanding and an increased eagerness to defend one’s position. During this type of conversation, the listener may appear restless, exhibiting a lack of eye contact or head nodding. In such interactions, th...
